Evaluation

I think that if everything had worked as I wanted it to then it would have been a good website, however we found that with what we wanted to do it wouldn’t allow us to as we had to insert an extra programming code in order to make one part work, but we found that by doing this it stopped other parts of the website from working. For example I originally had it so that when you hover over my links to my other pages that it would become a bigger font and a different colour but then we added photos to the home page that were faded and we made it so that when you hover over the photos they came to full brightness. But after this we found that the two did not work together, so in the end I had to decide to keep the effects on the photos and loose the effect of the bigger font.

Also on my other pages some of the photos didn’t actually show upon the screen and I couldn't figure out why, so you couldn’t see any of my photography. Also I had some captions underneath the photos telling you what class the horses were competing in and unfortunately that didn’t work either, if this had all of worked as I had hoped then it would have been a good website. Another thing that didn’t work is that when you click on one of the photos on the ‘Windsor horse show’ page it was supposed to open up in a separate window in a bigger size. But unfortunately that didn’t work either, because of the fact that the programming code we needed to use wouldn’t work within the programme (Notebook and FrontPage) that we were using to make our website.

So with all of these things that went wrong whilst I was trying to make my website the final website isn’t as good as I had hoped it would be.
